The most visible office of
state government and one that touches millions of consumers in a
year is the Office of Illinois Secretary of State. Having been, and
still am, in the private sector with America’s premier service
company; I know what customer service is all about. I also know that
the best way to learn how you are doing in delivering a service is
to ask your customer.
I am interested in hearing from the citizens of Illinois about their
experiences with the office of Secretary of State: suggestions for
improvement, appreciation for good service and comments on something
that did not go exactly right and how one could correct it.
This is not a complaint blog, but a constructive tool for a State
Senator and future Secretary of State to help make government
services better. All information identifying the respondent will be
kept confidential. I will post a representative sample of the
feedback, giving only a first name and city.
